About the game
Twirlydrop is a free 3D tower game: a bouncy ball with big eyes hops on the rings of a twirling tower, and you turn the tower so the ball can drop through the gaps. Drag left or right, line up a gap and let the ball fall. Spiky red tiles end the run, so pick your landing spots with care. Fall through three rings in a row and the ball catches fire, smashing the next tile it hits to pieces, even a red one.
Play 60 levels in six zones, each with a new twist: sliding spikes, rings that spin on their own, pale tiles that crumble after one bounce and tight gaps, with a boss tower at the end of every zone. Earn up to 3 stars per level, go as deep as you can in Endless mode, clear the Daily tower for bonus gems and collect gems to unlock 12 balls and 8 tower looks. Your progress is saved in your browser.
How to play
- Drag left or right (or press the arrow keys / A and D) to turn the tower.
- The ball bounces by itself: bring a gap under it to drop to the next ring.
- Spiky red tiles end the run. Land on the plain tiles.
- Fall through 3 rings in a row and the ball catches fire: it smashes the next tile it touches, even a red one.
- Longer falls score more points. Reach the score targets to earn 2 and 3 stars.
- Collect gems to unlock new balls and tower looks.
Tips and tricks
- Small, calm drags work best. The ball bounces on the spot, so you have time to look at the next ring before you move.
- Before you drop, check what waits under the gap. From zone 3 on, a red tile can sit right below it.
- Three rings in a row set the ball on fire. A burning ball smashes whatever it lands on, so a long fall is the safest way past a ring full of spikes.
- Each ring of a streak is worth one point more than the one before, and a smash adds a bonus. Chain long falls to reach the 2-star and 3-star targets.
- Sliding spikes move back and forth on a fixed path. Land on the far end of their tile just after they slide away.
- No gap in a ring? Look for a pale tile and bounce on it once: it crumbles and opens the way.
- Keep 5 gems in your pocket: after a crash, "Keep going" smashes the ring that stopped you and gives you a bubble shield, once per run.

Frequently asked questions
Is Twirlydrop free?
Yes. Twirlydrop is free, runs in your browser and needs no download and no account. Gems are only earned by playing; nothing can be bought with real money.
Does it work on phones and tablets?
Yes. It works on phones, tablets and computers, in portrait and in landscape. On a touch screen you drag anywhere to turn the tower. The game lowers its graphics detail by itself if your device gets slow, and you can also choose the detail in the settings.
How do I get 3 stars?
The first star is for reaching the bottom of the tower. The second and third stars need a higher score, and score comes from falling through several rings in a row. After a level the result screen shows the score you need for the next star.
What does the burning ball do?
After falling through 3 rings in a row the ball catches fire. The next tile it lands on is smashed together with its whole ring, even if it is a spiky red tile, and you get bonus points.
How do I unlock new balls and tower looks?
Seven balls and four tower looks are bought with gems. The others open by playing: finish level 10 or level 30, pass 60 rings in one Endless run, clear the daily tower 3 days in a row or collect 90 stars.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Stars, gems, unlocked balls, tower looks and your best scores are saved in the browser on your device.
