About the game

Puffwing is a cute one-tap flying game for kids and families. Tap to make a tiny fluffy friend flap its wings, glide down when you let go, and slip through the gaps between pillars that hang from the clouds. Fly across five dreamy worlds: the Sunny Meadow with its tree trunks and sleepy bumblebees, the Candy Clouds where candy-cane pillars slide up and down, the Breezy Bay with swirly winds, the Frosty Peaks with ice jaws and spinning icicles, and the Starlight Sky where little meteors zoom towards you.

Every world has 6 levels with a gentle difficulty ramp. Grab shiny coins, catch bubble shields and coin magnets, and earn up to 3 stars per level: reach the finish, collect 7 out of 10 coins and finish without a bump. Spend your coins on 8 adorable friends, from Pip the chick to Glimmer the unicorn, and try the Endless mode for bronze, silver, gold and platinum medals. Your progress is saved in your browser.

How to play

  • Tap the screen, click or press Space / Up arrow to flap. Let go to glide down.
  • Fly through the gaps between the pillars and reach the finish flag.
  • A bump costs a heart. When your hearts are gone, try again.
  • Stars: finish the level, grab 7 out of 10 coins and finish with no bumps.
  • Bubbles protect you from one bump; magnets pull the coins to you.
  • Endless: one bump and it is over. Score 10, 25, 50 and 100 for medals.
  • Press Esc or P to pause.

Tips and tricks

  • Use short, calm taps. One flap lifts you a little and gravity pulls you back, so a steady rhythm keeps you level far better than many fast taps.
  • Look at the next gap, not at your bird. Start rising or falling early, while there is still room between the pillars.
  • Candy Clouds pillars slide up and down: wait for the gap to move towards you before you fly in. In the Frosty Peaks, wait until the ice jaws open.
  • In Breezy Bay the swirly wind pushes you up or down. In a gust that pushes up, tap less; in one that pushes down, tap more.
  • After a bump you blink for a moment and can't be hurt again, so use that moment to reach the next gap calmly.
  • Coins you collect are kept even if you run out of hearts. Each new star also gives 10 bonus coins, so replaying a level for its missing stars is a quick way to unlock friends.
