About the game
Hop Home Heroes is a cheerful race board game for 2 to 4 players, based on the classic rules everyone knows from family game nights. Roll the dice, bring your little heroes out of their nest with a 6, hop around the board and lead them all into the middle before anyone else. Land on another hero to bonk it back to its nest, but watch out: the start squares and star squares are safe!
Play against CPU friends with three personalities (Careful, Bold and Wacky) or pass the phone around with family and friends. Choose a Quick game with 2 heroes each or the Classic game with 4, switch the house rules on or off (three 6s in a row, exact roll to get home, extra roll after a capture, 3 tries at the start), and win games to unlock new boards and hero sets: foxes, frogs, robots, gumdrops and more. Your stats are saved in your browser.
How to play
- Tap the dice (or press Space) to roll. You need a 6 to bring a hero out of the nest.
- Tap a glowing hero (or its dotted target) to move it. Heroes walk clockwise, one square per dot, then turn into their own coloured lane towards home.
- A 6 gives you another roll; three 6s in a row lose the turn (optional rule).
- Land on another player's hero to send it back to its nest. Start squares and star squares are safe.
- Two of your own heroes can never share a square. With the exact-roll rule you need the exact number to step into home.
- Bring all your heroes home first to win. Keyboard: arrows choose a hero, Enter moves it.
