About the game
Relax with Sudoku under glowing paper lanterns! Fill the grid so that every row, column and box holds each number once. Play Classic 9×9 in six levels from Easy to Extreme, Mini 6×6 for beginners and kids, Killer Sudoku with cage sums and Diagonal Sudoku, where both long diagonals count too. Thousands of hand-checked puzzles, each with exactly one solution and graded by the techniques it really needs.
Stuck? Smart hints don’t just reveal a number: a friendly owl shows where to look and explains the trick in words, from hidden singles and pairs to X-Wings, Swordfish, wings and the rule of 45. Use notes and auto notes, unlimited undo, highlights and conflict checks, then win up to three stars. Solve the Daily challenge to fill your calendar and earn a trophy every month, and follow your times and streaks in the statistics. Light, night and paper themes, large numbers and colour-blind friendly colours are included.
How to play
- Tap a cell, then a number. Every row, column and box must contain each number exactly once.
- Turn on Notes (or long-press a number) to write small candidates; Auto notes fills them all in.
- Killer: the numbers in a dashed cage add up to its sum and never repeat. Diagonal: both long diagonals hold every number too.
- Press Hint to see where to look and why; Apply when you understand it. Check and Reveal help when you are unsure.
- Keyboard: 1–9, arrows, N for notes, Backspace to erase, Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y, H for a hint, P to pause.
