About the game
Fuzzfuse is a cute merge-and-battle game with fuzzy elemental creatures. Hatch little fuzzlings from four elements onto your 15-cell camp, drag two identical twins together to fuse them into a bigger evolution, then press Fight! and watch your team battle the wild team on its own: Leaf and Spark creatures charge in, Fire creatures shoot from far away and Water creatures splash several foes at once.
Every element has six evolutions, from tiny Budling, Emberpip, Dropple and Zipzap to the mighty Grovegiant, Solarion, Leviafloof and Stormwing. Clear 40 levels on four islands with a champion every fifth level and an island boss every tenth, earn coins and up to three stars per battle, fill your creature book, buy permanent upgrades and keep going in the endless Rainbow Rift. Water beats Fire, Fire beats Leaf, Leaf beats Spark and Spark beats Water, so choosing the right element matters!
How to play
- Tap the four buttons to hatch a creature of that element (keyboard: 1–4). Each one costs a little more than the last.
- Drag a creature onto an identical twin (same element and evolution) to fuse them into the next evolution.
- Drag creatures to move them around your camp: brawlers in front, shooters behind. Drop one on the bin to release it for coins.
- Press Fight! (or Space) and watch the battle. Change the speed with the speed button or S, pause with Esc.
- Win for coins and up to 3 stars; a defeat still gives coins and your team always comes back whole.
- Water beats Fire, Fire beats Leaf, Leaf beats Spark, Spark beats Water (+60% damage).
Tips and tricks
- Fuse as soon as you can. A fused creature is stronger than the two twins it was made of, and it frees a cell in your camp for a new hatchling.
- Look at the wild team before you fight. The element button with the yellow "Strong!" badge beats most of the enemies on that level.
- Keep Leaf and Spark brawlers in the front row and Fire and Water shooters behind them, so the shooters can keep firing while the brawlers take the hits.
- Prices go up separately for each element. If one element gets expensive, hatching another one is often the cheaper way to grow your team.
- Lost a battle? You still get coins and your whole team comes back, so add a few creatures or an upgrade and try again.
- When your camp is full of creatures that have no twin, drop the smallest one on the bin and use the coins and the free cell for something you can fuse.
- Bosses have special moves: stay spread out against Grumblestump's Root Slam and make your creatures tough against Captain Clawdia's Tidal Wave, which hits everyone.

Frequently asked questions
Is Fuzzfuse free?
Yes. Fuzzfuse is a free online game that runs in your browser on computer, tablet and phone, with no download and no account. There are no real-money purchases: everything is bought with coins you earn in battles.
How do I fuse creatures?
Drag a creature onto another one of the same element and the same evolution. They fuse into the next evolution. Every element has 6 evolutions, and the 6th one cannot be fused any further.
What happens if I lose a battle?
Nothing is lost: your team always comes back whole and you still get some coins. Hatch or fuse a few more creatures, buy an upgrade or switch to the element that beats the wild team, then try again. After every defeat on the same level the wild team also gets a little tired: 6% less health each time, up to 30%.
How do I get 3 stars?
Stars depend on how much health your team keeps when it wins: 3 stars when more than about half of the team's health is left, 2 stars when about a quarter is left, 1 star for any win. More stars also give more coins.
Which element is the strongest?
None of them: Water beats Fire, Fire beats Leaf, Leaf beats Spark and Spark beats Water, with 60% more damage. Leaf creatures are tough brawlers, Spark creatures are quick brawlers, Fire creatures shoot far and Water creatures splash several enemies.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Your level, team, coins, stars, upgrades and creature book are saved automatically in your browser on that device.
