About the game
Treadlings is a cartoon battle game with little wind-up toy tanks. Drive your googly-eyed tank through 40 maze arenas in a playroom, a sandbox garden, a candy kitchen and a moon toybox, and pop every enemy toy tank into a burst of confetti. Your bouncy shells ricochet off the walls, so you can hit tanks hiding behind blocks with a clever bank shot – but watch out, your own shells can bounce back at you!
Every enemy tank has its own trick: sleepy Snoozy never moves, Zippy fires super fast rockets, Bonko loves trick shots, Dotty drops pop-bombs, Wisp is almost invisible and Ace dodges your shells. Each world ends with a funny boss fight. Earn up to 3 stars per arena, unlock six tanks in the Garage, or battle a friend on one keyboard or one screen in the 2-player mode with power-ups.
How to play
- Computer: move with W A S D or the arrow keys, aim with the mouse and click (or press Space) to fire. E or right-click drops a pop-bomb, P pauses.
- Phone and tablet: your left thumb drives, your right thumb drags to aim and fires when you let go. Tap the bomb button to drop a pop-bomb.
- Shells bounce off walls – follow the dotted aim line to plan bank shots. Boxes break, and shells fly over holes.
- Get 3 stars: win, lose 1 heart at most and finish within the time.
- 2 Players: Player 1 uses W A S D + Space, Player 2 uses the arrows + Enter, or each player takes one half of a touch screen. Gamepads work too.
