About the game
Puttabout is a bright cartoon mini golf game you play from above. Drag back anywhere on the screen, watch the arrow and the dotted line, and let go to putt. Bank shots off the walls, time your putt between the windmill sails, jump over the water from a ramp, curve around a planet and roll into portals that pop the ball out somewhere else. Every bounce, splash and hole in one comes with confetti, sounds and a happy cheer.
Play 27 holes on three themed courses: Clover Meadow, Sunny Cove and Moonbeam Park. Make par or better for three stars, collect stars to unlock new courses and earn coins for 10 fun golf balls, from Cherry and Bumblebee to Galaxy and Golden. Challenge a friend in the 2 player mode on the same device: take turns, knock each other’s balls and see who needs the fewest strokes on the scorecard. Your progress is saved automatically.
How to play
- Drag back anywhere on the screen and let go to putt. The farther you pull, the harder the shot.
- The dotted line shows where the ball starts rolling; walls bounce it back.
- Sink the ball in as few strokes as you can: par or better gives 3 stars.
- Water costs one extra stroke, sand slows the ball and arrows on the grass push it.
- Hit ramps fast to jump, wait for a gap in the windmills and roll into portals to teleport.
- Keyboard: ← → aim, ↑ ↓ power, Space putts, R restarts the hole, P pauses.
Tips and tricks
- Don't hit every putt at full power. The cup pulls in slow balls, but a fast ball can curl over the rim, so pull back just far enough to reach the hole.
- Use the walls. When the hole is around a corner, aim at the wall so the ball banks off it; the dotted line shows where the ball starts rolling.
- Windmills: watch the sails turn once, then putt as a gap is about to open. A firm, straight shot passes through more safely than a slow one.
- Ramps need speed. A soft putt stops on the ramp or falls short into the water, and every splash costs one extra stroke.
- Arrows on the grass are slopes that push the ball, and planets in Moonbeam Park pull it towards them. Aim a little against the push and let the curve bring the ball back.
- On a computer the keyboard gives you precise shots: left and right arrows aim, up and down set the power, Space putts.

Frequently asked questions
Is Puttabout free?
Yes. Puttabout is a free mini golf game that you play online in your browser, with no download and no account.
Can two people play?
Yes. In 2 Players mode you take turns on the same device, on 3 or 9 holes of any course you have unlocked, and the player with the fewest strokes wins. Your balls can knock each other on the green.
How do I unlock the other courses?
Collect stars. Sunny Cove opens at 14 stars and Moonbeam Park at 32. Par or better gives 3 stars, one over par gives 2, and any finish gives 1.
What happens if I take too many strokes?
Each hole has a limit of par plus 3 strokes. If you reach it, the hole ends and you simply try again.
How do I earn coins faster?
Every star gives coins, finishing under par and holes in one give extra, and the first time you finish a hole the coins are doubled.
Does it work on phones and is my progress saved?
Yes. It plays on phones, tablets, Chromebooks and computers in either orientation, and your stars, coins and golf balls are saved in the browser on your device.
