About the game

Pinwobble is a cartoon bowling game with real pin physics. Drag the ball to choose where you stand, set the spin to curve it, then pull it back and let go. Pins with funny faces get scared when the ball comes, tumble, fly, spin on the floor and knock each other over, and sometimes one wobbles and stays up. Real 10-frame scoring shows every strike (X) and spare (/), with bonus balls in the 10th frame.

Climb the Career against 15 computer bowlers on 5 lanes: the classic Retro Alley, Sunny Beach with sea wind, sticky Candy Lane, the slippery Frosty Palace and Star Station, where pins float in low gravity. Solve 20 trick shots with ducks, crabs, penguins and asteroids in the way, earn coins for 12 fun balls, or play Free play with 1 to 4 bowlers on one device, friends or computer.

How to play

  • Drag the ball left or right to choose where you stand.
  • Pull the ball back (drag down) and let go to bowl: pull further for more power, sideways to aim. The dotted line shows the ball path.
  • Use the Spin slider to curve the ball; the curve starts where the shiny oil ends. Hit the pocket next to the front pin for strikes.
  • 10 frames, 2 balls each: a strike scores 10 plus your next 2 balls, a spare 10 plus your next ball.
  • Keyboard: Left / Right to move, A / D to aim, Q / E for spin, hold Space and let go to bowl, P to pause.

Tips and tricks

  • Start the ball on one side and curve it back to the middle: a ball that hits the pocket next to the front pin at an angle knocks down far more pins than a straight hit.
  • Watch the dotted aim line while you pull. It shows the path of the ball, including the curve, as far as the aim line reaches.
  • Power changes the curve: a slow ball curves more, a fast ball curves less and hits harder.
  • For spares, use little or no spin and aim straight at the pins that are left.
  • Every lane plays differently: check the wind arrow on Sunny Beach, curve less on Candy Lane, more on the Frosty Palace.
  • In trick shots the aim line reaches the pins, so try different start spots: blockers move, so wait for the right moment to let go.

Frequently asked questions

Is Pinwobble free?

Yes. It is a free online bowling game that runs in the browser on computer, tablet and phone, with no download and no account.

How is the score counted?

Like real bowling: 10 frames with 2 balls each. A strike (all 10 pins with the first ball) gives 10 plus the pins of your next 2 balls, a spare gives 10 plus your next ball. A strike or spare in the 10th frame gives bonus balls, so the best score is 300.

Can I play with friends?

Yes. In Free play you can add up to 4 bowlers and choose for each one if a person or the computer plays. People take turns on the same device. There is no online play.

How do I get 3 stars in the Career?

Each match has 3 goals: win against the computer bowler, reach the target score and bowl the number of strikes shown before the match.

How do I unlock new balls?

Win coins in the Career, trick shots and Free play and buy balls in the Ball shop. The Champion Gold ball is the reward for beating Captain Octo, and the Comet ball needs 45 trick shot stars.

Is my progress saved?

Yes. Stars, unlocked bowlers, trick shots, coins, balls and stats are saved automatically in the browser on that device.
