About the game
Open the sweetest bakery in town! Tap the happy oven to earn your first coins, then bake ten kinds of treats, from crunchy cookies and croissants to donuts, cherry pies, macarons and towering castle cakes. Tap a treat to bake a batch, buy more to unlock speed and profit milestones, and hire ten adorable animal chefs, like Millie Mouse and Bruno Bear, who keep baking nonstop, even while you are away.
Buy 88 recipes that multiply your profit, decorate the shop with plants, lamps, a sleepy cat and a golden chandelier, help hungry customers before their time runs out and catch the golden balloon for a sugar frenzy. Finish 50 goals to level up your bakery, collect 36 trophies and open new bakeries to earn golden stars that make everything faster forever. Big numbers, cozy music and automatic saving included.
How to play
- Tap or click the oven (or press Space) to earn coins. Fast taps fill the Baking Rush bar: everything bakes twice as fast.
- In Treats, buy cookies, croissants and more. Tap a treat (or press 1–0) to bake one batch. Owning 25, 50, 100… makes a treat faster or richer.
- Hire Chefs: they bake a treat nonstop, also while you are away (2 hours, more with upgrades).
- Buy Recipes to multiply profit and Decor for a bonus that is kept forever.
- Finish the goal at the top of the panel to level up, help customers before their timer ends and tap the golden balloon.
- In Stars, open a new bakery: you start again but earn golden stars that boost all profit.
- Keys: Space tap, 1–0 bake, Shift+1–0 buy, B buy amount, Q/E tabs, G collect goal, P pause.
Tips and tricks
- Follow the goal at the top of the panel: it always points to a sensible next step and pays a coin reward when you collect it, and finishing goals raises your bakery level.
- Hire a chef for each treat as soon as you can. Chefs bake nonstop, so you no longer have to tap that treat yourself, and they keep baking while you are away.
- Aim for the milestones. Owning 25, 50, 100, 200 and 300 of a treat halves its baking time, other counts multiply its profit, and owning 25 or more of every treat boosts all profit.
- Tap the oven quickly to fill the Baking Rush bar: for 12 seconds everything bakes twice as fast. Turbo Oven recipes make the rush last longer.
- Always tap the golden balloon: it brings either a Sugar Frenzy, with profit ×5 for 20 seconds, or a lucky batch of coins. Help customers too, because a finished order pays well.
- Decor is never lost, each level adds +20% to all profit. Before opening a new bakery, buy what decor you can, and remember that unspent stars give +2% each, so only spend them on upgrades that are worth it.

Yes. Ovenopolis is a free idle cooking game that plays in the browser on a computer, tablet or phone, in portrait or landscape, with no download and no account.
Do my chefs keep baking when I close the game?
Yes. Hired chefs keep baking while you are away, for up to 2 hours at first. Night Shift recipes add 2 hours each and the Sleepy Town upgrade in the Star shop adds 4 more, up to 12 hours.
What happens when I open a new bakery?
Coins, treats, chefs and recipes start again, but you keep your stars, decor, trophies and goals. Your first golden star comes after 100 million coins earned in total.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. The game saves automatically in the browser on your device. If you want to start over, use Reset progress in the settings.
Is Ovenopolis good for kids?
Yes. It is a cheerful bakery game with cute animal chefs and customers, no violence and simple tap controls. Very big numbers can also be shown in scientific form in the settings.
