About the game

Flinglings is a cartoon physics playground full of soft, squishy buddies. Grab them, swing them and fling them across the yard, bounce them on trampolines, launch them from foam cannons, tie balloons to their hands and watch them float away. Everything wobbles, boings and giggles, with no scary bits: just stars, confetti and silly faces.

Build your own playground with 9 toys and 7 gadgets, use Pin, Eraser and Undo, slow motion, freeze-and-pose and Moon or zero gravity, and pick one of 6 scenes. Then try 24 challenges in 4 parks: get a buddy into the basket, collect stars, pop balloons, knock crates down, bounce in a row or ride the wind. Fewer throws give more stars, and stars and 12 playground badges unlock new buddies, toys and scenes. Your playground is saved automatically.

How to play

Drag a buddy and let go to fling it. Tap a buddy to make it giggle.
Pick buddies, toys or gadgets in the toolbar, then tap the playground to drop them, or drag them straight in.
Tap a cannon to fire, a fan to switch it on or off, a ramp to flip it; drag the round handle to turn a gadget.
Drop a balloon next to a buddy's hand to tie it on; tap a balloon to pop it.
Pin holds things in place, Eraser removes them, Undo brings them back.
Challenges: grab the buddy inside its circle and fling it to the goal. Fewer throws = more stars.
Keyboard: S slow motion, Space freeze, Z undo, 1 2 3 tools, Delete clears, R restarts a challenge.

Tips and tricks

Swipe quickly and let go while your finger is still moving: the buddy flies with the speed and direction of your swipe.
In challenges, steep throws are easier to control than flat ones: aim up high and let the buddy drop into the basket or onto the mat.
Trampolines bounce higher the harder you land on them, so drop a buddy from high up for a big boing.
Three balloons lift a normal buddy; heavy Chonk needs more. Tie them by dropping balloons right next to a hand.
Use Freeze to stop everything, pose your buddies in mid-air, then unfreeze and watch the chaos. Undo fixes any mistake.
Turn on slow motion before a big throw or a cannon shot to see every wobble.
Stuck on a challenge? Restart it and try a softer swipe: the zone circle shows where you can grab the buddy.

Frequently asked questions

Is Flinglings free?

Yes. It runs in your browser on computer, tablet and phone, with no download and no account.

Is it violent?

No. The buddies are soft plush toys: when they bump into things they squish, see little stars or get dizzy for a moment. There is no blood and nobody gets hurt.

How do I unlock more buddies and toys?

Earn stars: up to 3 per challenge (fewer throws give more stars) and 1 for each of the 12 playground badges. New buddies, toys, gadgets and scenes open at set star totals.

How do balloons work?

Drop a balloon next to a buddy's hand and it ties itself on. One or two balloons slow a fall, three lift a normal buddy into the sky. Tap a balloon to pop it.

Is my playground saved?

Yes. Your playground, stars, badges and settings are saved automatically in your browser on that device.
